In October 2016, I wanted to experiment and observe how that village might react to someone who wanted to help them, despite the broad meaning the word help can have.
After the village reached an agreement, with a unanimous referendum, it was decided to build a small room with two showers — one for boys and one for girls. In the end, a two-story building was constructed. On the ground floor, there were showers for men and for women, and a room for a laundry. On the first floor, there is a meeting room, which is also used as a clothing market. With clothing donated by Anna’s friends, the first market was held. And with the money collected, and by unanimous decision, the Internet was installed. And, to my surprise, they also made a room for me so that when I go there, I can have my own space. In an annex, solar panels were installed and the structure was adapted for housing, and the first shop-bar with basic food supplies for the village was opened.
The process lasted until October 2017.
