Anna Didi Foundation

Be brave, take risks, nothing can substitute experience.

The AnnaDidi Foundation is a small organization, founded by Andorran Anna Babot Portell. It was established following the experience she had between 2016 and 2019 while helping Lumsa, a Sherpa ethnic village in Nepal in the Everest region.
Following that experience, Anna decided to create this foundation, focused on providing necessary and specific aid, on an ad-hoc basis, to those most in need around the world, without any discrimination.

In November 2016, after several trips to Nepal, which began in 2010, Anna learned, thanks to Mingmar Sherpa, about the living conditions of the inhabitants of Lumsa village, Tapting district, Solukhumbu region, Everest area.

Since then, Anna decided to start helping the village through various projects in different areas; primarily educational (hiring an English teacher); but also in others, such as healthcare (the construction of bathrooms and showers, the installation of a washing machine); and provided them with new infrastructure (the installation of an electric generator and solar panels, Internet and Wi-Fi, among others).

Anna and the other founders are committed to maintaining and strengthening aid to Lumsa village and, in the future, to other locations and regions in Nepal, Andorra, and other countries worldwide.
