May 2026 – Guinea Bissau

I had not been to Guinea-Bissau for two years. The heat persisted
anyway. But the school and the water wells had advanced a lot. It
was almost finished.

I was impressed by the willingness of all of them at the same time to
take this project forward. During these two years all kinds of
problems arose. From flooding, he once took half of the school to
having to build the bricks by hand and have been dried up by the
sun and broken and have to do it again.
We have also taken the opportunity to build tables and benches so
that girls can be more comfortable.

Everyone is happy with the project and in October they want to
make the inauguration.
We plan to buy a projector with a screen so that finally it is important
that they have a good education.
