Initially, the idea of a climbing wall seemed a bit extravagant. However, considering that many civilians in this region spend part of the expedition seasons assisting in reaching eight-thousanders and other highly technical peaks, building the first climbing wall in the entire Solokumbu region was a wise decision. This allowed for the practice of techniques and the use of ropes and knots. Furthermore, it helps local children develop psychomotor skills and concentration through this activity.
